BCAP Highlights NH as a "Top Ten Place to Watch" in 2010

As testament to the committed citizenry of NH, the state has been designated one of the country's leaders in creating safe and energy efficient buildings. In 2010, the Building Codes Assistant Project (BCAP) named NH one of its "Top Ten Places to Watch" for leadership in energy efficiency. As one of the ten cities and states honored by the award, BCAP acknowledged New Hampshire's unique state-wide commitment to energy-related issues.

The Ten Places to Watch in 2010 campaign recognized states and localities around the United States that demonstrate a real commitment to promoting energy-efficient buildings. The campaign was designed to facilitate sharing of experiences, best practices and resources with the larger building energy codes community - a practice whose value each partner in the Ten Places to Watch in 2010 campaign recognizes and embraces.
