General Information About This Year's WorkshopsGDS Associates, is working closely with the NH Office of Energy and Planning to continue to bring you an extensive series of NH Energy Code Workshops over the course of 2010. We have already offered eight (8) individual energy code trainings around the state this Spring and are right now opening up our Fall/Winter workshop schedule. With the IECC 2009 Energy Code having gone into effect April 1st, it is important that all building and design professionals be aware of what will be required of them by code, as well as to understand the benefits to exceeding code. These fall/winter workshops will be related specifically to meeting and exceeding the 2009 IECC Energy Code. Registration for the fall/winter workshops has just been opened up, although venues/dates are still being confirmed so watch closely in the next couple weeks as more venues/dates are added. We plan to send out an email blast once the bulk of the venues are announced, allowing for enough time for interested parties to be able to register well in advance - so if you're not already on our contact list and would like to be added, make sure to Contact Us and request to be added to our email list.As in the past, all workshops this fall/winter will be offered free of charge and lunch will be provided to all attendees. Continuing education credits (BPI, AIA, and General CEUs) will be offered at all workshops. Live hands-on demonstrations during coffee breaks and some excellent door prizes are planned for these events. Each workshop this fall/winter will be designed as a single day session that will run from 8:30am - 3:00pm with a mid-day break for lunch. Workshop Sponsor InformationWorkshops are being sponsored through the NH Office of Energy and Planning (via American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 funds) as well as via the NH Electric Utilities, and the NH Public Utilities Commission. |
